The special stop for Parker

Monday started as any normal travel day on choir tour. Everyone packed up and got ready to make the day's journey to San Antonio. However, God had a different plan for us today. In the morning Parker notified Pastor Larry that he was experiencing discomfort  in his ear. While we all enjoyed the last of Hobbs wonderful hospitality in the form of a hot breakfast , Pastor Larry planned  a stop at an urgent care. We set off to San Antonio with the intention of stopping along the way to care for Parker's ear. Little did we know was that visit would last three and a half hours. Parker ended up fine learning that he had a treatable infection in his left ear; however, his right ear was blocked 90% of the way by ear wax. So Parker enjoyed a very hot ear flush that unclogged his nearly deaf ear. All in all we ended up in San Antonio with Parker's medication, a special day with a great story, and the gift of patience and companionship.
