7/9 Choir Tour 2016

"Waasssuuuupppppp!" -Michael Scott

Today was by far the longest driving day yet, but it was also one of the most eventful and fun days. We started out by driving up towards Yellowstone, but first made quick stop to get some pictures in front of the Rockies.

We then drove a few more hours to Yellowstone, where we had 2 hours to go out, explore, eat, and see Old Faithful in all of its glory. After leaving, we continued driving through Yellowstone park, and couldn't help but make a few more stops to view the wilderness around us. One of these was the Mammoth Hot Springs, where the naturally hot water spills over and makes gorgeous rock formations. We also had the chance to see some amazing wildlife including deer, elk, and buffalos.

We finally arrived in Helena, Montana around 9:00 p.m., where we kicked off the night with some frisbee (again). We then had our nightly devotions around a campfire that was provided for us. We even got some banjo accompaniment from Arnie, a pastor at the church. We then enjoyed the indoor showers and couches to sleep on, with the exception of a few of the boys who decided to sleep outside...

Stay tuned.
