We began our first day with a 5 hour drive from Thousand Oaks to Christ Lutheran Church in Las Vegas, Nevada. But of course, we had to stop in our favorite place, Barstow Station, on the way.
After arriving and settling in, Jimmy announced our first mystery day: walking along the Las Vegas strip. We walked a few blocks to the Bellagio where we watched two of the water shows! (Check out our Instagram for videos!!) This was also a prime location for people watching.
We left Las Vegas at 8 this morning to begin our journey to Salt Lake City. We made a few stops along the way, which almost always involved frisbee throwing, and finally arrived at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. We then went across the street for a fancy group dinner at Red Robin (yummm), where we got free dessert by claiming it was Gunnar's birthday. A quick devotion and real showers concluded our second day.
