THE END DRAWS NEAR
Today we had a long bus ride from Colorado to Utah. It started off well and ended well with our breakfast and dinner meals. We stopped at a Denny's for breakfast; it was nice not to have fast food for a change. For dinner we ate at a place called Cracker Jacks. While we were on the road after we ate breakfast the temperature started to get warmer and dryer. Most of us slept on the way there or listened to music. Once we got  to the church we unloaded the bus and started getting ready to go out to dinner. After dinner we came back to the church, showered and did the big revealing of secret pals. Everyone had big smiles on their faces during the secret pal reveals. The church left ice cream for us which we ate after devotions. We all had a good time and we are all very excited to go home tomorrow and sleep in our own beds.

PASTOR DOWN!

Today was agreed on being one of the best days that we have had so far on this trip. in the past whit water rafting has always been a favorite and today was no exception to that. We started our day off with getting breakfast at either Starbucks or carles jr depending on your preference. Then when we finished it was about a 2 and a half hour drive to the place where we would be going to raft. When we arrived at the rafting place the whole group was very excited, and hungry because it was around lunch time. We went to change cloths in a small smelly bathroom with only one stall in it. then once everyone was ready we got the safety rant… that was sooo great. After our little talk we were shuttled up river in a bus snd dropped off about i9 miles up the river. We were left with our guides a boat and paddles and we had to get back on our own. the water was a refreshing 60 degrees. We got drenched dunked and splashed by people and the river. We stopped about half way down for a exhilarating swim and were able to get pl in the water! After rafting we drove the rest of the way through the church and then got ready for a big dinner; we ate at a local distillery and restaurant. after returning we ended the day with a closing worship.

WE AREN'T IN KANSAS ANYMORE!

Today we drove to Denver, Colorado! We had breakfast at a truck stop 30 minutes down the road from where we were staying and we chose between 2 places to eat at Dunkin' Doughnuts and Hardys. Once we, aka Jim (The Bus Driver) was done eating; the rest of us had to finish our food quickly so we wouldn't be left behind by him. When we where all on the bus the extremely long drive started! During the drive it rained hard and quick when the finally ended the rainbows come out again. For lunch we went to a subway in Walmart; the few groups the we had where able to walk around for about 30 minutes so we could shop for gifts for our secret pals and other stuff we needed. After our tortuous drive we got to the church, unpacked, and immediately walked down a few blocks for dinner. One of the groups went to KFC and couldn't finish their 'family feast' and gave the rest to a homeless man who was very grateful and shared with his friends at the park. Around the corner was a Super Target and a few people went there to get more gifts for their final gifts for their secrete palls. After we walked back to the church PL asked if we wanted to watch a movie and he put on Ferris Bullers Day Off and we are trying to settle down now so we can be as rested as possible for the big day we are having tomorrow. PL told us what our secret day is; it is RAFTING!
