TACOS IN SANDWICH
Today was a day of love, excitement, fear, and a taste of God’s
amazing powers. We started today off with a breakfast at a little breakfast place called Village Inn…
this breakfast was some of the best of the trip so far considering it wasn’t a
doughnut or cereal which is what we have been eating. Afterwards we got back
‘’On the road again’’ in the humid, sticky bus. We traveled for several hours
before Connor began getting sick and we had to stop the bus several times. As
we sat waiting there for him we wondered if he had gotten lost or fallen in,
but then he arrived soon after those thoughts appeared, he is okay now which is
good. Today we’ve been noticing some love going around on the bus, and we could
possibly be having some new Sr.LL couples appearing in the group. When we
arrived at the church we were greeted by one of Pastor Steve’s old friends he
grew up with and went through seminary with. We were served a wonderful taco
dinner in Sandwich, Illinois and also some brownies and ice cream. In return we
had a mini concert for them. When our
little show was over one of the church members let us go swimming at his house
and we were able to see lightning, fireflies and rain, as we played volleyball
and had chicken fights in their very small pool.
